OVERGROWN

This project was a collaborative piece with numerous talented artists in where we had to come up with our own story, film it, and create effects to help it all play out (all in a matter of 10 weeks).

Overgrown is a story about a young woman who finds a strange flower sitting outside her home. After inspecting said flower, she picks it up and it begins to unfurl magically in her hand, causing a beautiful chain reaction of particle effects and a vine made from an L-system that crawls up her arm.

I was personally in charge of the compositing work on this project, and I mainly used NukeX, as well as a bit of color-retouching in DaVinci Resolve.
